About Me
I am a BACP Accredited Counsellor, Psychotherapist, Coach, and Clinical Supervisor, and have been supporting clients through my private practice in Twickenham, South West London since 2014.
“When we are no longer able to change a situation, we are challenged to change ourselves.”
— Viktor E. Frankl
My interest in mental health began with a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Macquarie University in Australia. Since then, I’ve pursued extensive professional training to deepen and broaden my approach.
- Person Centred Experiential Counselling for Depression Practitioner training - Metanoia Institute/NHS
- Diploma in Integrative Clinical Supervision - The Minster Centre
- Advanced Diploma in Humanistic Integrative Counselling - CPPD
- Introduction to Cognitive Behaviour Therapy - Birkbeck University
- Level IV Certificate in Counselling Children (QCF) - Place 2 Be
- Advanced therapeutic use of mindfulness - Mindfulness Institute
- Mindfulness and self compassion - WPF Therapy
- Understanding Autism, Asperger's and ADHD - Derby University
- Neuro Linguistic Practitioner - New Oceans NLP Academy
Mindfulness is a practice I regularly integrate into my work, particularly when supporting clients with anxiety, depression, exam stress, sleeplessness, anger, or bullying. My particular interest and increase in working with ADHD, Autism and Neurodiversity in young people and adults in general has led me to be continually updating my training and learning in this area.
My Work
In addition to my private practice, I work in NHS-affiliated health centres and local secondary schools, offering therapeutic support to individuals from a wide range of backgrounds. My passion for working with neurodivergent individuals has also inspired me to factitate workshops on neurodiversity and mental health.
I also design and facilitate bespoke wellbeing workshops on topics such as:
- Friendship and social connection
- Building resilience
- Bullying awareness and support
- The relationship between neurodiversity and mental health
My Approach
I offer a warm, collaborative, and integrative approach, tailored to each individual’s unique needs and pace. My aim is to create a safe, respectful space where you feel truly heard, understood, and supported as you explore what matters most to you. Clients often share that they feel deeply listened to, genuinely cared for, and understood.
In line with the BACP Ethical Framework, I undertake regular supervision and continuing professional development (CPD) to ensure my work remains ethical, reflective, and effective. I also hold an Enhanced DBS certificate and full professional indemnity insurance.
Beyond the Therapy Room
Outside of my professional roles, I am proud to support Cancer Research UK, contributing to the ongoing efforts in research, awareness, and advocacy for those affected by cancer.
